The Kennel Club is running its prestigious Dog Photographer of the Year Competition for 2010 and, has fabulous prizes for you to win! All that you need is a camera and – of course – a love of dogs!

All entry fees will go to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust (Registered Charity Number 327802).  The Charitable Trust makes a difference for all dogs by funding a wide variety of work ranging from supporting research into canine diseases to welfare initiatives and the promotion of support dogs, all of which give dogs healthier and happier lives.

Within the framework of the 20th Bird and Nature Festival, that will be held from April 10 to 18, 2010, we invite world-wide photographers to participate in one of the most expected events of the spring.  We are pleased to announce the opening of the photo competition, do not hesitate to register now. The EuroNatur-Foundation in cooperation with „natur + kosmos“, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and NaturVision, arrange the 16th nature photography competition “Nature Treasures in Europe”. Send us your most beautiful photos of nature in Europe: animals, plants or landscapes! The best takings will be presented in autumn 2009 in an exhibition at Schloss Wolfstein in Freyung, in the heart of the Bavarian Forest, and prized with valuable awards. The winner photos will be published in „natur + kosmos”, in the magazine EuroNatur, on the hosts’ Internet pages as well as in the large-sized wall calendar “Nature Treasures in Europe 2010″.

Participation is free; there are attractive prizes to be won. By participating, you will contribute with your pictures to the wildlife protection activities of EuroNatur.
