logoThe Lymphoma Association, the UK’s only specialist charity providing information and support to those affected by lymphatic cancer, is delighted to announce the launch of a national photographic competition this summer.

The competition, which is running from now until Sunday 16th August 2009, asks contributors to take photographs along the theme of ‘Look at Life Differently’. The theme has been chosen to reflect the overwhelming feedback that we have had from patients and their families, that a lymphoma diagnosis changes the way people view their lives.

There is no restriction on the subject of the photographs – entrants can interpret the title entirely as they wish; whether it is an object, something in nature, a view, a person – their imagination is the only limit!

Deadline:  16 August 2009

No prized scrapbook photo or National Geographic cover shot has ever come from a camera with dead batteries. So it’s with weekend warriors like you in mind—as well as award-winning professional photographers like Jim Richardson—that Energizer invented Energizer® Ultimate Lithium batteries. Energizer® Ultimate Lithium AA and AAA batteries last up to eight times longer vs. Energizer® MAX® in digital cameras (results vary by camera). That means you can take your mind off of your batteries and focus on taking great shots.

Enter your best photos in the 2009 Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest. You could win the grand prize, a National Geographic Expeditions trip for two to the Galápagos Islands and your photo published in National Geographic magazine.
